Top Organic Restaurants in Phoenix, AZ
Farm-to-table, grass-fed beef, local, organic- here are all the top spots to try in Phoenix
Persepshen- farm-to-table restaurant in Downtown Phoenix
Arguably one of the best restaurants in Phoenix- Persepshen is my favorite restaurant. I’ll say it now and I’ll repeat it over and over again! They are local, organic, and sustainable, in the heart of downtown Phoenix. They make everything in-house, from the ketchup to the mustard to the bread. Their meats are all local and 100% grass-fed or pasture-raised. Their menu rotates weekly depending on what is in season and what cut of meat they are going through on the animal. They only serve local wine and beer.
Everything I’ve eaten here has been absolutely delicious! I highly recommend their vegetable appetizers- they know how to make a vegetable taste anything but like a vegetable. If they have the beef meatball pho or corned beef, order those! And make sure you don’t leave without a cookie skillet and a pint of homemade gelato.

Sante- organic, farm-to-table in Scottsdale
Sante is a popular organic, farm-to-table restaurant located in Northern Scottsdale. They serve everything organic down to the coffee they use in their espresso martinis. They have an excellent 100% grass-fed burger and veggie plate. If you’re looking for a more posh environment with a good cocktail selection, this is the place. Great for a girl’s night!
Wilderness- local, grass-fed, regenerative, and organic options
This is a go-to for a casual but fun night out. Wilderness is a beer garden with locations in Gilbert and Downtown Phoenix. While it is a beer garden, I go here for their delicious 100% grass-fed, AZ local burgers and duck fat fries. Yes, you heard that right! Fries free of canola and soybean oil!
You can’t beat the food at this beer garden. It’s delicious and you can feel good eating it. I highly recommend the PB&J burger.
Sapiens- one of the best gluten-free restaurants in Scottsdale
Sapiens is great for those interested in or following the paleo diet. The restaurant is hands down one of the best gluten-free restaurants in Scottsdale. Their chef is French and is extremely innovative in the way she cooks. She doesn’t use any added sugar, dairy, or gluten in her food. I highly recommend the paleo bread platter, paleo meatloaf, and lamb shank.
Giving Tree Cafe- vegan restaurant in Downtown Phoenix
This vegan restaurant in Phoenix does vegan the right way. Everything they use is organic and made in-house, including their sauces and ketchup. They don’t use soy which I appreciate. Almost everything is made from just vegetables! And lots of mushrooms! They also serve reverse osmosis water so you can feel good about the water you are drinking there while eating.
Arcadia Meat Market- local, organic, grass-fed, pasture-raised meat
While not a restaurant, I couldn’t not mention my favorite butcher shop. All of the meat is organic and local and of the highest quality. This is the best place to buy 100% grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork, chicken, and turkey in the Phoenix area. They make a lot of unique sausages and season different products like kebabs and stir-frys. If they have the Korean BBQ kebabs, buy them!
They also sell spices, local eggs, local produce, and Italian cheeses.

Nelson’s Meat and Fish- fresh, wild-caught seafood in Phoenix, AZ
Last but not least is my favorite place to buy fresh fish in the Phoenix area. Nelson’s has a new catch every day. I believe they never freeze their fish, but don’t quote me on that. They only serve what they catch. You know it’s good when they have a line out the door and always seem to sell out.
